October Etsy event 2014

Ο δημιουργικός προγραμματισμός και η οργάνωση μιας ομάδας είναι πάντα η πιο όμορφη διαδικασία πριν την πραγματοποίηση ενός έργου που βρίσκεται ακόμα στο στάδιο του σχεδιασμού. Ο καταιγισμός ιδεών, οι συζητήσεις, η έμπνευση, η συνδιαλλαγή απόψεων και πρακτικών είναι μια μοναδική εμπειρία για τους δημιουργούς και καλλιτέχνες κάθε είδους! 

Αυτή την υπέροχη εμπειρία ζήσαμε κι εμείς λοιπόν στις 25 Οκτωβρίου, στο Sitio Cafe στην Λευκωσία. Μετά την έγκριση του καταστήματός μας Cyprus Etsy Street Team Pop Up Shop από τον Δήμο Λευκωσίας για το Nicosia Pop Up Festival 2014, ξεκίνησαν οι προετοιμασίες για την πραγματοποίηση ενός μικρού ονείρου καλλιτεχνών και μελών της εν λόγω ομάδας. Συμμετέχοντες, ωράρια, χώροι, design, χρώματα, κατασκευές κτλ μπήκαν στον δρόμο τους. Μια επίσκεψη στο κλειστό ακόμα για επισκευές κατάστημα, μας έδωσε και μια οπτική άποψη για το τι μπορούμε να επιτύχουμε σαν ομάδα. Αναμένουμε με ανυπομονησία τα κλειδιά για να αφήσουμε την δημιουργική φαντασία μας να λειτουργήσει σε ρυθμούς Etsy.

An artistic project, which is still in the planning stage, creates the opportunity for amazing experiences! Organising a group of artists as well as the creative planning process is always the most beautiful part before making such a project come to life. Brainstorming, discussions, inspiration, exchanging of views and practices makes the whole experience unique for creators and artists of any kind!

Long story short, this was the experience we made happen on the 25th of October, at Sitio Café in Nicosia, Cyprus. After our Cyprus Etsy Street Team Pop Up Shop has been approved by the Nicosia Municipality, for the Nicosia Pop Up Festival 2014, we started preparing for the realization of a small dream. Participants, working hours, spaces, design, colours, constructions etc. were scheduled and launched. A visit to the shop that is still closed for repairs, gave us a visual perspective of what we can achieve as a team. We cannot wait to get a hold of the key and let our creative imagination run free, the Etsy way!
